Neal Kaplan, C.F.A.
Neal Kaplan, CFA is the VP of Financial Operations for Excision BioTherapeutics Inc. In this capacity, Neal analyzes the financial statements and assesses the financial condition of the company. In addition to providing financial analysis and management, Neal is also focused on bringing Excision BioTherapeutics to the attention of the investment community and helping develop alliances with business partners and investors.
Before becoming involved with Excision BioTherapeutics, Neal had been a financial analyst for more than 30 years, working with Wall Street firms including Morgan Stanley, Sanford Bernstein & Co., Scott & Stringfellow, Inc., and Interstate Securities, Corp. He has also been Managing Director of Strategic Equity Marketing, an investor relations consulting firm, and Chief Investment Officer of AmRET.
Neal is also a mediator and arbitrator registered with the Georgia Office of Dispute resolution and on the court rosters of DeKalb, County, Clayton, County and, Cobb County, as well as the 6th 7th and 9th Judicial Districts.
Neal holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from the University of Rochester and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
